Connected Social Accounts

Odavio lets you connect social accounts so your page, media kit and inbox can show your own content and figures. We only connect an account when you sign in to that platform and approve access. We use the data only to provide those features to you.

What we access

  • Instagram and Facebook (Meta): your profile (name, username, profile picture, follower count), your posts and their engagement counts, and account insights. If you turn on the inbox or comment automations, we also receive the direct messages and comments sent to your account, along with the sender's username, name and profile picture, and whether they follow you (for follow-gated rewards).
  • YouTube (Google): your channel's name, handle, picture and subscriber count, and your public videos with their titles, thumbnails, and view, like and comment counts. We use the YouTube API Services for this.
  • TikTok: your profile (display name, username, avatar), your follower, following, like and video counts, and your public videos with their covers, titles, and view, like and comment counts.

How we use and store it

  • We show this data on the pages and media kits you publish and in your Odavio dashboard. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
  • Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown on your pages. We refresh connected data automatically (at least daily) so your page stays accurate.
  • We never publish posts or public comments on your accounts. The only messages we send are the ones you write in the Odavio inbox and the automatic private replies you configure, such as sending a link by direct message when someone comments a keyword you chose.
  • If you have not connected Instagram, we may build your page from your public Instagram profile and posts, collected through a third-party service.

Disconnecting and deletion

You can disconnect any account at any time from your Odavio dashboard. When you disconnect, or when the platform tells us access was revoked or expired, we delete the stored access tokens. For YouTube and TikTok we also revoke our access with Google or TikTok and remove that platform's videos, statistics and synced profile link from your pages, including copies of images we stored. Instagram and Facebook content already on your page stays until you remove it or ask us to delete it. You can also revoke access directly from each platform:

  • Google / YouTube: Google security settings
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security, then Apps and services permissions
  • Instagram and Facebook: Settings, then Apps and websites (Business integrations on Facebook)

Messages and comments in your Odavio inbox stay available to you until you delete them or close your account. To ask us to delete all data we hold about you, email info@odav.io.

Google and YouTube

By connecting a YouTube channel you are also bound by the Google Privacy Policy. Odavio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate our business (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Advertising measurement: when you submit a form on our website (for example a request or booking), we may send Meta a hashed (unreadable) copy of your email address, your IP address and browser type, so we can measure our own ads. This never includes data from accounts you connect.
  • AI service providers: we use AI models (Anthropic's Claude) to draft page content from information you provide or that is publicly available. They process it on our behalf and do not use it to train their models.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
